Discotoast has been a long-standing partner of Canada’s Ballet Jörgen, supporting their digital journey over several key phases.
Our initial collaboration focused on consolidating their online presence by merging multiple existing websites into a single, unified platform. This streamlined their digital footprint and provided a more cohesive experience for their audience.
Later on, Canada’s Ballet Jörgen undertook a significant rebranding effort, refreshing the site’s design and identity while ensuring seamless integration with the newly established platform.
These projects reflect our commitment to providing ongoing support and adapting to their evolving needs in the digital space.
Phase 1
Challenge:
Canada’s Ballet Jörgen reached out to Discotoast with a vision to consolidate their digital presence. They aimed to unify their existing websites, namely Canada’s Ballet Jörgen and George Brown Dance, into a singular, comprehensive online platform.
The goal was to develop a custom content and media portal that brought all information under one virtual roof and incorporated a range of bespoke functionalities tailored to their unique needs.
This project was designed to enhance user experience, streamline content management, and better represent the organization’s multifaceted offerings in the digital landscape.
Action:
Our involvement began with comprehensive Planning, including Solution Design & Consulting, to map out the project’s scope and requirements.
We then moved into Design, supporting the expansion of their Brand WebStyles and creating Responsive Wireframing to ensure the new site would function seamlessly across all devices.
Our Build Implementation phase involved Development, Feature Implementation, and Content + Media Implementation Support.
Rigorous Testing and Optimization followed, leading to a successful Launch of the unified portal.

Phase 2
Challenge:
In 2022, Canada’s Ballet Jörgen decided it was time for a significant update to their digital presence. They aimed to rebrand their website to perfectly align with their fresh JörgenDance.ca branding, ensuring visual consistency and reinforcing their new identity online.
Beyond aesthetics, they also wanted to leverage the latest tools and frameworks available, ensuring the site was modern, efficient, and capable of delivering an optimal user experience.
This initiative was about both refining their image and enhancing functionality to meet contemporary web standards and audience expectations.
Action:
In alignment with Canada’s Ballet Jörgen’s 2022 initiative to rebrand and update their website, Discotoast developed and executed a strategic, phased approach to migrate their site to a brand new platform with the new Jörgen Dance branding.
Understanding the complexity and scale of the existing site, we prioritized a smooth transition that minimized disruption.
The first phase focused on modernizing the existing theme within a new framework. This involved refreshing the overall look and feel and incorporating new theme elements to align with the evolving brand identity.
Following this initial visual and structural update, the content migration occurred in carefully planned phases, ensuring all information and media was efficiently transferred to the new platform.
This approach allowed us to manage the project effectively, address any issues promptly, and deliver a polished and cohesive new website that met all of Canada’s Ballet Jörgen’s objectives.
Result:
JörgenDance.ca was born!
